Meet Madison, our first senior for the Class of 2015! We had a slight delay as a major thunderstorm rolled in right at the beginning of her session, but we waited it out and got some beautiful evening light. Madison brought several outfits, including her cheerleading uniform, which gave us plenty of variety in her shots. Here's some highlights from her session:

Little Miss Emma showed us all sides of her personality during her session! First she was a little shy, then she started having fun playing peek-a-boo and running around. She hated her cowboy boots, but loved the balloons. Emma has an adorable smile, the sweetest serious look, and then the best pout face I've ever seen. She sure kept us busy, just like a typical two year old (and we know what that's like)! Happy Birthday Emma!
The Lucarelli family contacted us because all of their kids were finally in town for their newest granddaughter's baptism, and it has been a while since their last family photo. We shot the session at their family home outside Swanton, where they've lived for over 35 years. All of the spots they choose on their large property were meaningful to them in some way - fun times in the pond with the kids (and now the grandkids) every summer, or the now-giant pine trees they planted 30 years ago when their own children were small. We hope to see them again as their family grows!
Renea and Richard were high school sweethearts, and we were told by their friends and family that this wedding was 23 years in the making! We had a sunny June day, and the event took place at the Morenci Sportsman Club in Michigan. The bride and groom chose to have a "First Look" before the ceremony. The tradition is that the groom doesn't see the bride before the ceremony, but the First Look is becoming more popular. It gives the couple the time to experience that moment in private, and we get to capture the emotions and get some relaxed shots of the couple before the excitement and rush of the day begins. If you plan on having a late afternoon ceremony with reception immediately following, we recommend considering a First Look.
Renea and Richard had a small outdoor ceremony, surrounded by their close friends and family, followed by a larger reception. The gray and yellow color scheme was perfect for a summer day, the decorations were unique and beautifully made, and everything went smoothly. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day and congrats again, Mr. and Mrs. Rutledge!
