For Ainsley's 18 month photos, we did something a little different - a mother/daughter session. Chad chose the outfits, and the scene was our backyard at our studio. We have two acres of property with lots of trees, and the late afternoon light is beautiful this time of year. The whole session only took about 30 minutes; which is roughly how long an 18 month old is willing to participate most of the time (she's the boss here). We let Ainsley guide most of the session - exploring the area, climbing, and trying to copy mommy. Letting toddlers play and be themselves is the best way to capture their personality, and we wanted her photos to reflect the little person she is right now. Enjoy!

This October we’re offering mini sessions for the first time. If you haven't heard of mini sessions, or just want a little more info, here's a quick Q&A:
What is a mini session?
A mini session is a shorter version of a portraiture session with a discounted price. The event typically has a theme, and offers a disc of 10-15 edited images with print release.
How is it different than a regular session?
The theme and setting are selected by the studio, the event typically occurs on a set day and time, the shooting time is shorter, and includes a disc of a limited amount of images rather than an online gallery.
How long is a mini-session?
The photography session block is 30 minutes. We recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes early to be prepared for your scheduled start time, and plan to stay a few minutes after the session to exchange contact information and payment.
How much does a mini session cost?
Typically our mini sessions cost $50-$75, depending on what “extras” we are offering.
Who can be photographed during mini-sessions?
Mini sessions are open to adults, children, families, and even pets (depending on location).
Can we do multiple grouping or wardrobe changes during our mini session?
We will do more than one pose per session, and will try to incorporate different groupings as time allows. Unfortunately, the sessions are too short to allow outfit changes.
When will we get our images?
Processing will be completed within 2-3 weeks of the session date, unless stated otherwise. You will be notified by email or phone upon completion, and you are welcome to pick up your disc or we can mail it to you.
A mini session is a great way to get some fun and unique photos without the commitment of a full length session. If you need to update the family photo, get some new shots of the kids, or wear those halloween costumes more than once, contact us to book your spot at our Fall Mini Sessions! Or, if you’re looking for more of a custom photography session, we’ll be happy to schedule that as well.

Our most recent session was Trent, a senior at Evergreen High School. We had planned to capture a few of his interests, such as four-wheeling, hunting, and his dog. Both Trent and his dog Walter were eager to participate - as soon as I pulled my camera out of the bag, Walter got very excited. So excited, in fact, that he felt the urge to run... and by run, I mean run away. We continued on without him, and after the first set, Trent did a quick wardrobe change, and guess who came back? Walter! The rest of the shoot was smooth sailing, and we got a lot of great shots. Thanks, Trent, for a fun day. Enjoy!
